This course is focused on strengthening security across Azure environments. Designed for technical audiences, it covers Zero Trust principles, Azure security best practices, firewall and network protection, and the security pillar of the Well-Architected Framework. Participants will gain hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, and modern security operations strategies to enhance resilience and mitigate risks.

Introduction to Proactive Security​

This module highlights the importance of Proactive Security, Zero Trust principles, and secure Azure Landing Zone design. It covers Azure security features, firewall and network protection, and concludes with a Cloud Adoption Security Assessment for compliance and risk evaluation.

Security Pillar in the Well-Architected Framework

This module covers the security pillar and its principles, best practices for secure architecture, and using Microsoft Defender for Cloud to secure migrations. It also includes implementing Microsoft Sentinel for security monitoring, managing exposure risks, and ensuring business continuity and disaster recovery.
